Victor Illuminating, Inc. was established in 1990 in Sacramento, California. The owner, Rudy Mortensen, had previously owned a precision sheet-metal shop in the bay area where he enjoyed developing, designing and manufacturing components from high-tech Silicon Valley. He desired to build a company where he could employ his talents for design and manufacturing to fabricate quality products. He chose the lighting industry because of the endless opportunity available for creativity and challenge.
Victor Illuminating, Inc. has developed a reputation in the lighting industry for integrity of design as well as superior quality. We design and incorporate features for ease of installation and serviceability, as well as offer the ability/flexibility to design custom, or modify existing designs according to specifications. This has earned us a listing on the LDS National Plan as one of their approved manufacturers. We specialize in bowl fixtures but offer a broad range of products for various applications. In addition to our extensive listing of LDS church projects, we have built custom fixtures for Vandenburg Air Force Base, Edwards Air Force Base, Bob Jones University, numerous retail and restaurant jobs including shopping malls, schools, commercial buildings and casinos, etc.
